Aging in Place is a concept that is based on the principle that members of the large and growing seniors population can remain where they live for as long as they are able. The key to the concept is to provide housing and healthcare alternatives that enable seniors to downsize to a well-organized community that will provide support services as needed. Designed to house approximately thirty senior citizens, the site configuration and building organization is arranged to facilitate an aging population. Community orientation, social gathering areas and barrier-free facilities provide comfortable surroundings for guests and residences alike.
